Step-by-Step | How to Set Up Your Contact Card

Before we get into the setup, there’s one very important thing to know: When you receive your Tap Identity item, you’ll find a printed booklet inside the packaging. Do NOT throw it away. 

This little piece of paper is your key, please keep it somewhere safe.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need to manage your Tap Identity long-term: your personal setup link, direct access to this blog (so you always have the most up-to-date guidance), a link to our support page, and our contact email at studiomanagement@mon-haus.com

The booklet also includes a concise version of the setup steps — how to update your information, how to lock your account so it’s yours forever, and where to go if you need help.

Step-by-Step

Step 1: Scan the Log in QR in your booklet. 

Inside your booklet, you’ll find two QR codes. For setup, scan the one labelled “Log in.”

This QR code is:

1. Your personal, unique access point
2. Permanent (it never expires)
3. The only way to edit your Tap Identity contact card.

Step 2: You’ll be redirected to Card Link

After scanning, you’ll land on the Card Link page — this is where your digital contact card lives. No downloads, no apps, no fuss.

Step 3: Click Edit this card

Scroll to the bottom of the page and find the blue link that says Edit this card.
Click it — this unlocks editing mode.

⭐ Step 4: Set up your login (very important)

Step 5: Add a profile photo (optional)

You can upload a profile image if you’d like.

📸 Maximum file size: 256 KB
(Keeping it lightweight ensures fast loading on all devices.)

Step 6: Edit your details

You can now customize everything that appears on your card, including:

• Organization
• Position title
• Phone number
• Email
• Website
• Social links
• Notes

Tip: Card Link automatically formats platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc., so they stand out visually.

⭐ Step 7: Click “Update Card” (very important)

Once everything looks right, click Update Card.

That’s it — changes saved.

You’re all set 

You’ll be taken back to the main page, where you’ll see your name and updated information displayed.

You can safely close the tab now.

What happens next?

Your Tap Identity item is already connected to this card.

That means:

• Any changes you make here are instantly reflected
• Tapping your item will always show the latest version of your details
• No reprogramming required

Your identity evolves — your Tap ID evolves with you.
